Clearing your Cache

Introduction

Cache is computer junk that is left over from activities such as web browsing or other programs. Cache left over from web browsing may also interfere with Pawn Tactics and not allow you to play it. Luckily, clearing your cache is very simple.

Clearing your cache for Internet Explorer (IE)

Step 1: Click Tools.
Step 2: Click Delete Browsing History.
Step 3: Click Delete button next to Temporary Internet Files.
Step 4: Click OK to exit Delete Browsing History.
Step 5: Cache has been cleared.

Clearing your cache for Firefox (FF)

Step 1: Click Tools.
Step 2: Click Clear Private Data.
Step 3: Uncheck everything, but leave Cache checked.
Step 4: Click Clear Private Data.
Step 5: Cache has been cleared.

Step 1: Click Edit
Step 2: Go down to empty cache
Step 3: Click empty cache

Clearing your cache for America Online (AOL)

Step 1: From the 'My AOL' menu, on the AOL toolbar, Click 'Preferences'.
Step 2: Click 'WWW'.
Step 3: Look for the 'Temporary Internet Files'.
Step 4: Click 'Delete Files', then click 'OK'.
Step 5: Cache has been cleared.

Clearing your cache for Netscape

Step 1: Up top in the pull-down menus (File, Edit, etc.), click Edit, then 'Preferences'.
Step 2: Find 'Advanced'. Click the + sign in front of the word, 'Advanced'.
Step 3: You'll see 'Cache, Proxies, etc………'.
Step 4: On the right you'll see, buttons labeled 'Clear Memory Cache' and 'Clear Disk Cache'.
Step 5: First, click 'Clear Memory Cache' when the "?" dialog appears click 'OK'.
Step 6: Then click 'Clear Disk Cache', when the "?" dialog appears, click 'OK'.
Step 7: Click 'OK' again to close the Cache Dialog box.
Step 8: Cache has been cleared.

Clearing your cache for Safari 4.0 beta (Mac OS X)

Step 1: Click "Clear Cache…" from the Safari menu
Step 2: A message dialog will appear to confirm the process.
Step 3: Cache has been cleared.
