Kill Stealing

Introduction

The phrase "kill steal" or "kill stealing" is commonly heard when a user believes another user has "stolen" their kill. There are many possible scenarios that are considered to be kill stealing below.

Scenario 1

  1. Player 1 almost kills Player 3, but dies
  2. Player 2 finishes off Player 3
  3. Player 1 calls Player 2 a kill stealer

Scenario 2

  1. Player 1 is fighting, and almost kills Player 3
  2. Player 2 steps in and kills Player 3
  3. Player 1 calls Player 2 a kill stealer

Scenario 3

  1. Player 1 is fighting, and almost kills Player 3
  2. Player 3 escapes Player 1 (with Player 1 chasing him\her)
  3. Player 2 kills Player 3
  4. Player 1 calls Player 2 a kill stealer

Scenario 4

  1. Player 1 has been helping his team (Team 1) fight Team 2
  2. Player 1 uses most of his ammo, loses a lot of his health, but his teammates barely lose any health and get credit for the kills
  3. Player 1 calls his team kills stealers

Player 1 will still receive credit once Player 3 is dead if they send any kind of damage towards him (+4 points).
